Tiger Eye is a naturally occurring Quartz variety formed when silica gradually replaces fibrous Crocidolite, preserving its silky, chatoyant bands. Brown and Blue Tiger Eye occur naturally, while Red Tiger Eye is traditionally created through gentle heat treatment, which enhances the stone’s warm red tones. This process has long been used in the gemstone world and does not compromise the stone’s structure or durability.
