Black Network Jasper is a variety of Jasper, which itself is a form of microcrystalline Quartz. It forms over millions of years through a slow and complex geological process involving silica-rich sediment, mineral inclusions, and pressure deep within the earth.
The “network” pattern that makes this stone so visually distinct is created when mineral-rich fluids move through tiny fractures in the stone during its formation. Over time, these fluids deposit contrasting minerals - often iron, manganese, or other trace elements - into those cracks. As the stone continues to solidify and undergo pressure, these filled fractures become permanently locked into place, forming the web-like or vein-like patterns you see.
- Black Network Jasper is often associated with grounding, protection, and inner strength, but its unique patterning adds an additional layer of symbolic meaning centered around connection, pathways, and resilience.
- The dark base color is often linked to protective energy. Black Network Jasper is thought to act as a shield, helping to deflect negativity while reinforcing personal boundaries. Rather than absorbing energy, it’s believed to help you remain steady and unaffected by external chaos.
- The natural “network” patterns symbolize pathways and interconnected choices. Many people are drawn to this stone when they are navigating complex situations, as it is believed to support clear thinking and help reveal multiple perspectives or solutions.
NOTE: Each die is hand-crafted from natural Black Network Jasper - patterns and colors may vary. You will receive a one dice of similar quality as the one(s) pictured. Gemstone dice are durable; however, can chip or crack if dropped or thrown too hard.
