Agate 2" Alien

A unique and beautiful hand carved piece made from Agate. This Alien is 2" (from front to back) and weighs approximately 4.8 ounces. 

Agate is a captivating variety of Chalcedony that comes in a wide array of colors and patterns. These beautiful stones often appear as nodules within cavities of volcanic rocks in which they trap gases of liquid volcanic material.  Silica-rich fluids then fill the cavities and cause deposit layers or walls over time (banding).
