Charoite is a relatively rare mineral that forms in metamorphic rocks. It’s primarily found in Siberia, Russia. The stone forms from the alteration of Feldspar minerals and is known for its vivid purple color, which results from the presence of Iron and Manganese. Its characteristic swirling patterns are a result of the mineral’s fibrous texture and the way it crystallizes.
